ApiShare Release 1.11 — Product Release Notes
Release Date:
Oct 2025
Versione
1.11.0
Overview
ApiShare 1.11 delivers a substantial set of enhancements designed to improve the platform’s adaptability to complex organizational scenarios, while also strengthening its openness and discoverability for external users.
At the core of this release lies a major advancement in cross-organizational governance, empowering administrators with the ability to define and assign user roles that span multiple organizations. This capability enables a more granular, flexible, and scalable management of permissions, particularly suited for enterprise groups, federated departments, or multi-tenant ecosystems working in shared environments.
A significant leap forward has also been made in terms of public access experience. Unauthenticated users can now access a fully customizable public landing page, which acts as a curated gateway to API documentation and the product catalog. This feature facilitates the discovery of public APIs and simplifies first interactions with the platform — even for users who haven’t yet registered.
The authentication model has been further extended through support for dynamic credential issuance via external Identity Providers such as Keycloak, Azure AD, or other federated systems. This enhancement to connector routing logic enables the implementation of secure, standards-compliant, and interoperable authentication flows tailored to modern enterprise security policies.
Lastly, in alignment with best practices for operational security, the management of KeySet secrets has been augmented with a new time-bound retrieval mechanism. Secrets are now accessible only within a predefined and configurable time window. Once expired, access is automatically revoked, minimizing the exposure of sensitive information while ensuring full auditability and compliance with enterprise-grade security standards.
New Features
