ApiShare introduces a new automated approval logic that streamlines the subscription process for selected user groups based on their organizational membership.
This capability significantly reduces the operational workload for tenant administrators while supporting controlled governance models.The feature also enables optional approval steps that can involve:
Business Owners, who are responsible for the data exposed through the APIs and may need to validate whether the requesting application is authorized to access specific information;
IT Owners, who oversee the technical operation and stability of the API and may need to verify capacity, security posture, or integration constraints before activation.
This results in a more adaptable, multi-stakeholder approval model that supports both automated flows and controlled decision points, depending on organizational needs.
Administration UX Redesign
The Administration section has been redesigned to deliver a clearer, more consistent, and intuitive experience.
Navigation, layout, and grouping of functionalities have been improved to better support both frequent operations and advanced configuration tasks.System Settings: Centralized Configuration Area
A new dedicated System Settings area allows administrators to manage platform-level configurations—including tenant information, documentation management, SMTP settings, and other system properties—directly through the user interface.
This centralization improves transparency, alignment, and ease of maintenance across environments.Homepage Widget Permissions
Administrators can configure which user roles are allowed to manage the homepage widgets.
This enables a more personalized user experience and ensures that sensitive operational or analytical information is accessible only to authorized profiles.
Enhancements
IP-Based Filtering for Subscriptions
New IP fields have been added to the subscription modal.
When a subscription is activated, these IP values are automatically applied to configure gateway-level filtering rules, improving security and environment isolation.Improved Subscription Inspection
The subscription detail view now displays the organization type of both the consuming application and the API provider.
